I had the opportunity to go to Canada over Thanksgiving break last year. This was the first time I had been to Canada. I went on the mini vacation with my friend, Abbey, and her boyfriend, Lance. We had an absolute blast! It was so much fun to just get away and have nonstop fun for two days!I was really excited because I had never been to Canada or out of the country before. We stayed in Niagara Falls so I had the opportunity to see the falls for the first time. The waterfall was absolutely beautiful and pictures certainly do not do this landmark justice.
We stayed at the Hilton Hotel right in downtown Niagara Falls. The hotel had a pool, waterslide, hot tub, and sauna so we definitely lived it up! To make things even better, we were lucky enough to get a hotel room with a huge window overlooking the city!
In addition, we went to the Dragonfly Club in Niagara Falls. The club was huge and everyone there was ready to party. Brody Jenner from "The Hills" on MTV was even there! He was the MC for the night at the Dragonfly along with his friend Frankie. They kept the crowd going so it was a lot of fun. Abbey, Lance, and I were in the VIP section so we were able to meet Brody and Frankie. We were even able to get some great photos!
I had an absolute blast in Niagara Falls and cannot wait for the chance to go back to Canada again! Has anyone else had the opportunity to visit Canada?

I live in buffalo so going to Canada and Niagara Falls is nothing for me, my family used to take day trips there all the time. When I was younger we would stay on the American side of the falls, but when I was a Junior in high school, "the thing" to do after prom was to go to the falls for dinner and such. My prom group all drove up to the falls and walked around the American side and then went for a really late dinner but it was so pretty there. The first time I went and really enjoyed myself was this summer. Me and my friends went up to Canada since we were all 19 and finally able to drink legally there, and it was such a blast! We went to Dragonfly too! Did you go anywhere else? We did karaoke at some outdoor place, but we got kicked out so our debut didn't last long! You should post more pictures from your trip, it sounded like so much fun!

Hi! Thanks for your comment. If I lived closer to Canada, I would definitely travel there all the time! It would be nice to just go over for the day to get away and have fun. We also went to dinner before heading out to the Dragonfly. The restaurant overlooked Niagara Falls, which was so pretty. The food was great and the scenery was even better! We certainly had a blast and I can't wait to go back again!
That is insane! I have not been to Niagara Falls since my friend Kim came to visit me in Jamestown, NY like 6 years ago.. and the last time before that was the 5th grade trip at Southwestern High School.. haha Well i am glad you guys had a good time! Wish I could have went!
Hi! Thanks for your comment. I had never been to Canada before last year so it was a lot of fun to finally get there. You should try to go back since you haven't been there in six years. If you have a chance, you should go see Niagara Falls - it was so pretty! Hope you get to go back to Canada soon - you'd have a great time!
